BGR Energy Systems Ltd has bagged the EPC contract worth Rs 3,100.06 crore from the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for the latter's 600MW power project, the company said in an announcement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). {BS}

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Monday reported a 2.22 per cent rise in total vehicle sales during June at 61,247 units, compared to 59,917 units in the same month last year. {BL}

HDFC Bank, has hiked its prime lending rate (PLR) by 0.75 per cent to 16 per cent. The bank has also increased its deposit rates by 0.5-1 per cent across various maturities. {BL}
